Several weeks ago I had to opportunity to connect with a fellow Sunday newsletter writer - Irena Spegar of The Boonly.
I don’t recall exactly how I found her, but when I subscribed to The Boonly and got my first issue in my Inbox, I knew we were kindred spirits.
Sundays for me are about reflecting, intentional and slow living, basking in nourishing routines, and resetting my mind and body for the week ahead.
And when I started reading Irena’s newsletter, I knew she felt the same.
The Boonly is a gift every Sunday for anyone craving a spark of wholesome curiosity, an antidote to "hustle culture", and the permission to rest, relax and enjoy your Sundays. They deliver:
âś… Curiosity-sparking content
âś… Witty insights to nourish your mind
âś… Inspiring ideas for perfect Sundaying
âś… Refreshing perspectives on well-known concepts

And while I’d point you in the direction of The Boonly regardless (because I know you’ll love it)…
…I’m specifically doing so now because I have an announcement.
I am taking a break from the Sunday Inspo Email for the summer, starting today.
There are SO many reasons why this is the right decision for me, and I know you might be curious about how I made the decision and the factors involved.
In the interest of transparency (and because I know you love how upfront and honest I am with you all), here are the 2 biggest reasons:
It is not something that’s going “back in the purse” of what I do in my business - at least in this form.
I am spending the summer working behind-the-scenes in my business - situating, cleaning, organzing, and most importantly - simplifying.
I’ll be working with coaching clients, updating Theme Day Planning Method, and considering what future emails for all of you will look like.
To that end, if you want to unsubscribe, click here and I wish you all the best.
If you still need that wonderful Sunday-feel in your Inbox, subscribe to The Boonly.
If you can wait for a couple of months to see how I’m going to share, teach, and give via email in the future, hang tight and I’ll be back with you soon (because we all know how fast summer goes).
See you soon Reader, - love ya,
Cara

Being a mother is the entire reason I've been able to hone my productivity skills, get more done in less time, and have an entirely different perspective on success and priorities. But the last several years, online marketing and social media has started tip-toeing around Mother's Day in fear of not recognizing or just dismissing others' feelings. I get...
I spoke at a local event last Wednesday about my life story. It was an interview format, and my interviewer guided me through a bit about my childhood, my first career as a Special Agent, then creating a job as the social media manager with Megadeth, and my entrepreneurial journey. One of the threads was how as an adult I constantly found myself questioning the status quo. Do I actually need to jump through this hoop? Do I need to stay in a job with great benefits and gravitas that is taking...
Hello hello and I'm back! After a month-long family sabbatical, I can finally tell you all what I was away doing. My hubby retired March 31st after 20 years in law enforcement (16 of which he spent doing child exploitation investigations). To say he needed to reset and regroup would be an understatement. On Saturday April 1st, at 5AM, our family of 4 drove away to embark on a 28-day roadtrip around the Western United States. Due to safety and security, I chose not to publicly announce where...
